![]() ![]() ![]() Coming off a loss in which they committed 6 turnovers, I imagine the Commanders will be dying to play better against their arch rivals, too. Washington is really only 6-5 ATS to the over because of many defensive-oriented, offensively weak opponents on the schedule thus far. ![]() Combine that formula with their last place 27.7 points allowed per contest and this is a dead-nut over team waiting to happen. The Commanders rank 11th in pass yards per game (245), 6th in rush yards per carry (4.6) and they are top 10 in fourth-down and red-zone conversion rate. It’s a good thing, too, since embattled offensive coordinator Eric Bienemy has him throwing north of 40 passes per game - easily the most pass-heavy operation in the NFL. Sam Howell has many flaws turnovers are his main issue (12 INTs). And while the Commanders are far from a good team, their offense can produce. Three bad offenses - the Jets, Patriots and Giants - are part of the reason why that total isn’t well into the 60s. At home is where they put on a showcase, especially on offense, and their totals have averaged 52.5 in front of the Dallas faithful. Astoundingly, the Cowboys are averaging a whopping 40 points per game at AT&T Stadium. The total sits at a predictable 47-48 points for this NFC East battle, but I still don’t think it’s high enough. ![]()
